Half a Century with Keil – Thank You, Manni!

This March, we celebrated a truly special milestone at Keil Anlagenbau: 50 years of service by our very first apprentice, Manfred Witte. Just a few weeks later, in May, we had the honor of giving him a heartfelt send-off into his well-earned retirement.

Manni began his journey with Keil back in 1974 as an apprentice heating and ventilation technician. What started with hesitation on his very first day (“And I have to do this for three years?”) turned into a remarkable 50-year career – a journey that’s nothing short of inspiring.

From apprentice to cornerstone of the company – Manni quickly took on responsibility, led national and international plant projects, and became a respected senior sales expert whose name is known throughout the polyurethane industry. He helped shape Keil into the company it is today with his vision, dedication, and hands-on mentality.

In a time when frequent job changes are the norm, Manni’s 50-year loyalty is a rare and admirable achievement. He was never just an employee – he was a mentor, a role model, and a key part of our company’s story.

Dear Manni, thank you – for your loyalty, your passion, and most of all, for being you. You will always be part of the Keil family.
