We are KEIL

KEIL stands for efficiency and quality — but above all, it stands for the people who make it all possible.

In our series “We are KEIL”, we introduce colleagues who bring our projects to life with their expertise and team spirit.

Today, we’d like you to meet Eugen – a trained welder who, with precision, experience, and dedication, helps transform individual components into complex systems.

We asked him a few questions:

How do you explain your job to your grandma?

I'm a trained welder – it's always been my dream job. I'd explain it to my grandma like this: I make sure that pipelines are safely connected and everything works the way it's supposed to. I weld pipes and connect pumps – it’s a job that requires precision, but also real craftsmanship. I used to travel the world for assembly work, up until last year. I saw and experienced a lot during that time. Since the beginning of this year, I’ve been working in manufacturing at KEIL – it's a great change because I get to be home more and still have exciting tasks every day.

What should never be missing on a construction site?

For me, that’s easy: a good team. Team spirit among colleagues is essential – if that works, everything else falls into place. A good mood is also a must; it lifts everyone's spirits and makes the workday easier. And one thing I personally can’t do without: coffee. Nothing works for me in the morning without coffee – it’s just part of the deal, otherwise the engine won’t start!

What has been your best moment at KEIL so far?

My best moment at KEIL? There are many, but one that really stuck with me was our 50th anniversary celebration. It was such a great event – spending time with colleagues and their families, chatting, celebrating. You could really feel the strong sense of togetherness. In general, that’s what I value most at KEIL: the team spirit, the sense of community, and the reliability we have with each other. That’s what makes the difference.

Thank you, Eugen – you are KEIL!
