The know-how of Keil Anlagenbau does not end with the tank systems for liquid raw materials.

In addition to storage, the requirements of our customers also include further processing and conditioning of media. Starting with simple batch mixing processes, inline dosing and reactive processes, we will work with you to develop the right concept for your production.

Batch processes

Batch processes From small containers, over 200 litre drums, to mixing tanks with a capacity of 20 tonnes or more. In the production of formulations in batch processes, the components are precisely dosed and mixed according to your recipe using the appropriate measurement technology. Components with a large proportion of quantities, first and foremost with precise weighing technology, small quantities by means of mass flow measurements or our patented measuring system Gravitube. Together with a controlled superposition atmosphere and temperature control systems, your product is produced of the highest quality.

Inline dosing

For a continuous mixing process or, for example the addition of liquids with higher vapor pressure, the mixing process can be designed as inline dosing. For this purpose, the main component and additional components are fed into a static or dynamic mixing system in a controlled manner. Thanks to permanent control of the material flows, the mixture is available in a defined composition and quality after leaving the mixing unit.

Reaction plants for prepolymer

We design and install highly efficient automated prepolymer plants for the production of cast elastomers and thermoplastic polyurethanes. The systems include the storage, conditioning and dosing of required raw materials such as polyol, isocyanate and additives. In addition the conveying and dosing of solid and liquid isocyanate can be integrated. The prepolymer plants are equipped with reaction vessels and all the necessary plant components for the order-based production of prepolymer batches. This allows the user maximum flexibility in production. Beyond that the entire production path from raw material feeding, conditioning, to the production of prepolymer is monitored and recorded.

Reaction vessel

In a temperature-controlled vessel, the media is being mixed in a controlled manner and passed through the reaction process under the required conditions.

Conditioning facilities

In order to decouple the conditioning of the raw materials from the central reaction process, the material is heated, dewatered and degassed in a separate unit to the required temperature.

Handling of components and dosing

Whether solid or liquid components, we offer you a suitable, automated and accurate dosing system for every medium.

Integrated cleaning system

The system is used to store and heat cleaning agents for the reactor cleaning process.

Supply facilities

Our plant concepts have the necessary equipment for process-relevant auxiliary energy. From compressed air treatment, generation of nitrogen, vacuum and provision of heating and cooling capacity, all sub-systems can be included in the project scope.
