On May 5 and 6, 2026, Keil Anlagenbau took part in the “Kompass – Find Your Craft” career orientation fair in Osnabrück. The event was organized by the Chamber of Crafts Osnabrück-Emsland-Grafschaft Bentheim.
The fair is aimed primarily at students from grade 8 onwards and follows a hands-on approach: instead of purely informational booths, the focus is on trying things out, participating actively, and engaging in direct conversations. Visitors had the opportunity to test various craft-related activities, work with real tools, and speak directly with apprentices and skilled professionals.
We also took the opportunity to present our company and provide insights into technical career fields and apprenticeship opportunities at Keil Anlagenbau. The personal exchange with the young visitors once again showed how important practical experience and direct conversations are when it comes to career orientation.
Events like the Kompass fair make an important contribution to helping young people discover their interests and talents at an early stage and to showing them career opportunities in the skilled trades and technical sectors.
