Order received for tank farm in Rhineland-Palatinate

Keil Anlagenbau has been awarded the contract for an extensive tank farm in Rhineland-Palatinate. The largest and most modern insulation plant in Europe is being built on a 30,000m² site on the former factory premises of a wood-based materials manufacturer.

The initiator is considered a pioneer in the production of insulation materials and has developed and optimised PIR technology. The company is considered a leader in commercial roofing, insulation and waterproofing in both North America and Europe.

Due to the long-standing cooperation between the customer and Keil, the Keil Anlagenbau team has already been active at several locations.

The company is represented at approximately 30 locations worldwide. The new company headquarters in Kaisersesch will be the fourth location in Europe, in addition to Klundert (Netherlands), Clermond Ferrand (France) and Alconbury in England.

A total of nine storage tanks for polyol, isocyanate, flame retardant, octoate and pentane, including pumps and equipment, will be installed, as will the control cabinet and its control system.

Keil will start work on the new site in spring 2024, and the plant will then go into production for the first time at the end of 2024.

The Keil Anlagenbau team is looking forward to this exciting major project and would like to thank the customer for the trust they have placed in the company.
