The tank farm consists of four storage tanks, each with a usable volume of 100 m³, to store among others flammable hazardous waste for thermal utilisation.
The tank farm is equipped with multi-stage jet mixers to ensure homogeneous mixing and prevent sedimentation of the solids contained. Therefore can the safe disposal of the hazarous waste be ensured.
The project scope includes the execution and detailed planning, delivery, assembly and commissioning of the tank farm including associated ancillary systems such as pumps, pipework, the tank sump and the extension of the pipe bridge.
The challenge of the project lies in the installation, as the newly constructed tank farm will be integrated into the existing tank storage facility.
GSB has been responsible for the environmentally friendly disposal of industrial waste in Bavaria for 50 years. They are represented there at 11 locations with four chemical-physical treatment plants, a hazardous waste incineration plant with two incineration lines and one landfill.
The construction work is expected to be completed in winter 2024.
